There are many sizes
and styles available and choosing one for your kitchen should
not be difficult. Do not forget these tips when selecting
your new wine rack.

1. Size does matter! How many bottles
of wine do you have on hand at any given time? This is a very
important thing to consider. You want all of your bottles
nicely organized and if your rack is too small you will have
some bottles left over. You could always just drink them!
( wink, wink ) but it is best to make sure all of your bottles
will fit. If you are saving any particular bottles, make sure
that you put them where they will not be disturbed or moved.
This will really help age the wine perfectly and unlock a
wonderful bouquet of taste!
2. Free space. Where are you going
to put the wine rack? Measure the spot where you want it to
go and make sure that it will fit. It is important to measure
the width and the depth for an accurate fit as well as the
height. Some racks are very tall and you must make sure there
is enough headroom available.
3. Strength and sturdiness. This is
one of the most important tips that I can give you. If you
get a flimsy wine rack and you start filling it with your
collection, can you imagine the mess that it would make if
it were to break? You know the old saying "Don't cry
over spilled milk." I would cry if my wine rack broke
and my whole wine collection went spilling on the floor. Make
sure that it is made from a strong material and can hold all
of the weight of your collection.
